Career to date
I began my law degree in 2014. I have been at Gibson Sheat since the beginning of 2015. I started working on reception, then became a Legal Secretary and am now I am a Law Clerk for the property and trusts division.
My approach to working with my clients
My approach is to be clear, pleasant and approachable when working with clients. I firmly believe that a positive attitude and some elbow grease will almost always lead to the best outcome.
I take care to methodically explain to clients what needs to be done to achieve their desired results, and then I work hard to do just that. I am happy to answer any questions and I am always available to help out in any way I can.
Most rewarding experience I've had at work
Assisting clients in purchasing their first home is always a rewarding experience. It is a huge step in someone’s life and something that I very much enjoy being part of. It gives all involved a feeling of accomplishment and success!
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given
The best piece of advice I ever received was from my Dad “measure twice, cut once”.
What stimulates me
What I enjoy outside of work
I enjoy hitting the gym, playing violin, learning foreign languages, walking dogs and all things beauty related. I will never pass up an opportunity for brunch.
If I wasn’t a lawyer I’d be
Either a classical violinist or researching in the field of neurophysiology.
