Charlotte Gibson is a Solicitor, based in the Wairarapa.

Born and raised in the Wairarapa, Charlotte has returned home after more than 20 years working across New Zealand and the UK. With deep roots in the region and a strong commitment to her community, she brings both international experience and a local perspective to her role at Gibson Sheat.

Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Otago University. She specialises in conveyancing and lease work, with additional expertise in regulatory compliance, including privacy and official information requests. Her career includes senior roles at the BBC and ACC, where she developed regulatory compliance frameworks and worked closely with regulators. She also has experience negotiating commercial contracts and has marked legal and financial qualifications for the Open Polytechnic.

Outside of work, Charlotte is actively involved in Wairarapa tennis, running tournaments for the local association. She’s often found supporting and managing her children’s sports teams and is a beginner triathlete enjoying the natural training grounds of the region she calls home.
