Career to date

"I worked on and off at Bell Gully from 2003-09, mainly in the corporate/commercial team.  I also had a brief stint at Community Law Centre in 2004"

Conrad joined Gibson Sheat in March 2010.  He works, around his rugby commitments, in our Wellington office commercial team.

My Recent work

I was part of the negotiating team for the recent Collective Agreement on behalf of the Players Association with NZRU.

Professional Associations and Community Groups

Since 2005 I have been a board member of New Zealand Rugby Players Association.

My approach to working with my clients

For now I'm trying to convince clients that I am a lawyer.

The most rewarding experience I've had at work

I recently did some work for the WRFU, I'm sure it's the first time one of their players has given them legal advice.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given

What stimulates me

People. Whether in work or sport I love the friendships you build.

What I enjoy outside of work

Any social sport, trying to cook, weddings and Christmas.

A sports journalist, arguing that sportsmen get paid too much
