About Lisa Searle
Career to Date"I became a Registered Legal Executive in 2014. My main focus is on residential sales and purchases but have recently looked after some estate administration matters. I also assist other staff with subdivisions which I enjoy doing due to my previous experience at Land Information New Zealand."
Lisa joined Gibson Sheat when Logan Gold Walsh and Gibson Sheat merged in August 2015.
Lisa has been based in the Masterton office since 2013. She completed her legal executive qualifications in 2012.
Lisa started her career at Land Information New Zealand then headed overseas for her big OE. On her return to New Zealand, she continued at Land Information NZ, worked in hospitality for a short time and then at Crown Forestry Management before returning to Land Information NZ. During this time she developed an in-depth knowledge of the Land Titles and Registration, and Treaty of Waitangi settlement processes. This background has proven valuable in her current role which predominantly involves residential and rural conveyancing.
Lisa also has an interest in estate administration and enjoys assisting clients with wills, powers of attorney and subdivisions.
My recent workMy recent work has included residential sales and purchases, refinancing, subdivisions and estate administration.
Professional associations and community organisations
My approach to dealing with my clientsI am approachable and make sure my clients receive the highest level of client care. I like to ensure my clients understand the legal process and I try to exceed their expectations each time.
The best piece of advice I've ever been givenTreat others as you would like to be treated. I think this gives me empathy with clients and, as a result, I communicate regularly with client s so they know what is going on.
What I enjoy outside workI have two young boys, so, at present, outside work my life revolves around their sporting and social endeavours.
If I wasn't a legal executive I'd...be a restaurant reviewer and wine taster - sounds like a pretty good job to me!
