General information regarding how we kept our staff and clients safe

At all settings under the Covid-19 Protection Framework, the well-being of our people, and anyone who visits our offices, is our priority. Our communities are very important to us, and so we want to do everything that we reasonably can to keep them as safe as possible.

During periods of lockdown, we invited clients to meet with us virtually and we believe options like this are important for our communities to have access to legal services when they want it. As always, if you would like to meet or sign your documents online, please just let us know.

Thank you for helping us to make our community safer. We appreciate your support. If you have any questions at all, please contact your usual Gibson Sheat contact person.

What can I expect when I visit a Gibson Sheat office or attend an event?

  • Please do not come into our office if you are unwell, have cold or flu-like symptoms, or have received a positive Covid-19 test. We can arrange to meet virtually or postpone until you are feeling well again.
  • As you enter our office, our waiting areas and meeting rooms are set up to encourage social distancing.
  • Surfaces in our meeting rooms and reception areas are treated with Zoono Surface Sanitiser, which remains effective for 30 days against Covid-19 and other germs and microbes.
  • Hand sanitiser is available in each meeting room and people are encouraged to use their own pen when signing documents.

If you have any questions, please raise them with your contact, or email us at info@gibsonsheat.com.

I'm not keen or able to meet in person, what are my options?

We believe that access to legal services is important for everyone.

Whether it be because your busy life is making it tough, you're not based near to an office, a meeting virtually is a great way to work through your questions face-to-face. Simply talk to your Gibson Sheat contact and we'll sort it out.

If someone from Gibson Sheat is coming to visit me, what can I expect?

If you would like our people to come to you or enter your premises, we will work with you to meet your requirements and support your business needs, while ensuring the safety and privacy of everyone by complying with the New Zealand Covid-19 Protection Framework.

If you or a business partner requires proof of vaccination, we will ensure that all our people who visit you have valid proof of vaccination.
