Gibson Sheat is an established and well-respected law firm that provides a broad range of legal services for its business and personal clients. It has offices in Wellington, Lower Hutt and Masterton.

Due to expansion of our litigation team, we have a vacancy for a full time Litigation Legal Secretary in our Wellington office. In this position you will play a pivotal role, working alongside a team of busy and friendly litigators in our central city office.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • can provide top level support to our litigators. You will be the person to "make it happen" so our authors can focus on providing the best possible service to their clients.
  • has at least three years’ experience in a high-level secretarial, administration, project co-ordinator, or PA role. (Litigation secretarial experience would be ideal, but is not essential).
  • is a Microsoft Word guru, and is good at creating, editing, and formatting documents.
  • is tech-savvy. You will enjoy and be skilled at working with new technology and systems.
  • is proactive, agile, creative, and organised
  • has a lot of enthusiasm, enjoys teamwork, and has a good sense of humour.
