On Monday, 24 September 2018, the Elder Law Team took part in the ‘Ageing Concerns Everyone’ Expo in Masterton, alongside some fifty other prominent businesses, both local and national.

There was a wide range of stall holders from the Menz Shed, National Party, Wairarapa DHB, and Public Trust to various charitable organisations, such as Alzheimers NZ and Parkinson’s Society. We even had a visit from the local constable during the afternoon. As the only law firm present, we were well-visited and loved – although this may have had something to do with the baking and lollies on offer! But we like to think that our natural networking skills also had a part to play in enticing people to talk with us about their Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and retirement villages or rest homes.

It was a great day for meeting new clients and catching up with existing ones. Many people told us how they like Gibson Sheat, and special mention was made of Donna Watt, Brett Gould, Julie Miller and Sandy Harrison for their wonderful client service.
