Georgia works in the Estates and Elder Law Team in the Masterton office, focusing predominantly on Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Georgia graduated from the University of Auckland in November 2020 with an LLB(Hons)/BA, double majoring in Anthropology and Ancient History.
Her Honours dissertation analysed the New Zealand and American approaches to repatriation and protection of Indigenous human remains and cultural objects in light of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) - an interesting and eye-opening topic to research!
While she is a born and bred Aucklander and moved to Masterton at the beginning of 2021 to begin working at Gibson Sheat, she has longer-term plans of setting down her own roots in the Wairarapa.
Georgia was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in May 2021.
Outside of work, you'll most likely find Georgia doing any or all of the following: reading, listening to podcasts, exercising (whether it be on a squash or tennis court), walking and/or jogging, cooking, and attempting to learn to crochet.
