About

Bryce was admitted to the bar in 2004, following which he practiced in the areas of debt recovery, family and property law, before joining Gibson Sheat in 2009.

Bryce leads Gibson Sheat's estates and elder law team. He handles a wide range of matters from drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney and handling retirement village transactions for individuals, to dealing with deceased estates and estate claims.

Bryce has a keen interest in elder law issues including the aged care sector where he provides general advice and debt recovery services to facility operators. He also handles court applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 for property manager and welfare guardian appointments.

Bryce's community involvement includes:

  • Wellington Branch NZLS, Trusts and Estates Law Committee
  • BNI (Business Network International)
  • Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer
  • The Street City Church member.

Outside of work, Bryce enjoys spending time with his family and friends and perfecting his skills on my coffee machine. He is an avid cricket fan, enjoys nine holes of golf (or 18 when time permits), and is also involved in a church which is an integral part of his life.
