Career to date"Since joining Gibson Sheat in 2001, I have worked in many areas of law including Property, Commercial (specialising in mortgagee sales and debt recovery), Litigation (specialising in debt recovery, bankruptcies and liquidations) and Estates & Elder Law.
I am now part of the Property team based in Lower Hutt undertaking residential sales and purchases. I also specialise in mortgage refinancing, Retirement Village sales and purchases, along with Enduring Powers of Attorney and Wills.”
In 2011 Jodie commenced the NZLS Legal Executive Diploma and completed her papers in 2013. She is efficiency, competence and professionalism personified. She handles a wide range of matters and enjoys the client contact that working in this area of law offers.

What stimulates meTravelling, meeting new people, and learning from them and their experiences, and problem solving.
What I enjoy outside workSpending time with my family and friends, sport (watching and participating), travel, celebrating anything - weddings - birthdays - Christmas - and good coffee and wine.
If I wasn't a Legal Executive I'd be...either a travel agent, or a property developer - I love to travel and have a great interest in property.
