Patrick Rozendaal

Patrick Rozendaal helps businesses, developers and property owners navigate complex transactions and make strategic decisions. He advises on land development, joint ventures, subdivisions, commercial leasing, business and share sales, financing and asset protection through trust structuring.

He also advises individuals and families on residential property and wider real estate matters, including buying and selling homes. His experience across commercial, residential and private client matters allows him to provide clear, well-rounded advice tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Patrick regularly acts for developers, commercial landlords and business owners, including on high-value transactions and multi-party projects. He supports clients from due diligence and structuring through to completion and handover. Clients value his commercial acumen, clear advice and ability to anticipate risks and opportunities.

As Team Leader of Gibson Sheat’s Commercial Property team, Patrick draws on his strong foundation in property and business law. He has worked on major development projects and complex commercial deals across a range of sectors.

A language enthusiast, Patrick speaks French, Romanian and Spanish and is conversational in Italian and New Zealand Sign Language.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys sport and spending time with his young children, especially during their lively evening “dance parties”.
