Aimee McGowan is a Partner, based in Masterton.
Aimee works with individuals, families, rural clients and business owners across the Wairarapa and beyond. Her legal expertise spans family trusts, relationship property, wills and estate planning, residential and commercial property, leasing, and rural succession. She also advises on rural and specialist matters including farm sales, forestry transactions, and business finance.
Aimee began her legal career in 2010 at a small-town law firm, building a strong foundation in family law and relationship property. She has since worked across provincial firms throughout the North Island, developing expertise in property, trust, and commercial law.
She helps clients with buying or selling property, setting up family trusts, navigating separation and relationship property and planning for succession or retirement. Aimee is known for her calm, clear, and down-to-earth approach. Clients appreciate her ability to explain legal concepts in plain English, helping them feel informed and confident at every stage.
Aimee is a member of the New Zealand Law Society and the Venus Networking Group.
Outside of work, Aimee enjoys road trips, reading and spending time with her husband Toby and their two children, Zach and Charlotte.
