My Career to Date
I joined Gibson Sheat in June 2016 from the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand in June 2016 where I worked while completing my studies in law and post-graduate philosophy. I was admitted to the bar in September 2016.

My approach to working with my clients
I like to let my clients do most of the talking so I can ensure what I do for them is exactly what they want and need.
Most rewarding experience I've had at work
Many of my clients are going through a difficult time – it’s rewarding to help them in their time of need.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given
Always remember the big picture.
What stimulates me
My main pleasure at work is writing wills. Wills combine law with relationships, property and ethics, and I love discussing these elements with my clients to ensure we write a will they can be sure of.
What I enjoy outside of work
I love galleries and movies with friends and family. Cryptic crosswords are my go-to for time to myself.
If I wasn’t a lawyer I’d be
Having spent six years working in art galleries – I’d love to be an artist (if I had the talent!).
