Our approach to pricing

We don’t believe that legal costs should be a mystery to the people paying them. Our no surprises approach to charging means that we will tell you in advance what you can expect to pay for our advice.

In order to provide you with an accurate costing, we will meet with you up front to find out what you are looking to achieve and what you would like us to do to help you. Following the meeting, we will send you an engagement letter setting out:

  • Our understanding of your needs
  • Details of the services we will provide
  • A price for these
  • Details of when and how payment should be made

You can then decide whether this represents good value and whether you would like to work with us.

If you do decide to work with us we will look for every way we can to keep the cost of your job down. Because we’re smaller, you won’t be paying for a massive infrastructure along with your job and we’ll ensure all work is carried out by the most appropriate person within Gibson Sheat.

If issues arise, outside of our control, which will have a cost implication, we will let you know at the time. You can be confident that there will be no nasty surprises when you receive our invoice.
