It's one thing to know the letter of the law. It's another thing to find the best solutions. Gibson Sheat isn't just another law firm. It can't be. That's not why we're here, and there's no appeal in that for our clients. We are refreshingly different we're a firm of personalities that goes to great lengths to… crack nuts, solve puzzles, un-knot problems.

Gibson Sheat now has 13 partners and 66 staff across its Wellington and Lower Hutt offices providing specialist Legal Know How to its wide range of Business, Government and Individual clients locally, nationally and internationally.

Delivering value and the desired outcomes for clients is, and, has always been, a key feature of the Gibson Sheat operates.

The Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (Act) came into force on 1 August 2008.  The "client care" elements in the Act and associated rules require lawyers to inform clients of the basis on which fees will be charged, about professional indemnity insurance arrangements and complaint mechanisms.  Our Suggested Terms of Engagement outlines this and other information about our relationship with our clients.
